Victim | 18 January 1889 | Pub and restaurant manager

Born in Quedlinburg, Germany. Son of NN.

Married with Maria Petronella van de Putte who lives in ’s-Gravenhage in 1948.

Importer and owner/manager the Bayrische Bierstube in Batavia. The Bataviaasch Nieuwsblad of 5 September 1940 reports the public sale of this Bierstube. Richard had apparently not payed the rent for a long time. He was imprisoned as person with a German background when the public sale was organised. The property of interned Germans attracted many greedy Dutch investors and entrepeneurs.

Note: these data were confirmed on 23 December 2018 by Richard Strube's great granddaughter.
