Married with Johanne Marie Matchinsky (then 27 years) in Amsterdam on 9 July 1913, (reg nr. 526). Living in Batavia (1948).
Father of Johanne was August Matschinsky (blacksmith), mother of Johanne: Johanne Dorothee Frehde, both living in Brunswijk (Dl).
Left for NEI on 28 July 1913, just after marrying. Phillipp was perhaps temporarily working as a cook on the ss Essen (HAPAG). Last address in NEI: Solo (Klaten, Jogyakarta).
