Ex-Tsingtau. By exception, he is not imprisoned in Japan in the period 1914-1919. Perhaps he travelled during the war or managed to escape to Hongkong or Australia.
In 1922 he is employed in NEI with the sugar factory in Bojong, Java. In 1935 he is in Surabaya. In 1940 he works as mechanic in Malang, Java.
Georg (or Gustav?) Zacher is interned in 1940 and deported with the Van Imhoff. He survived the disaster.
