Friedrich Weber

Born on 18 December 1893 in Linx (Kreis Offenburg, Baden).

Emigrates to Tsingtao. Called to arms in January 1914 and enlisted as sailor artillerist in the 5th Company.

From November 1914 imprisoned by the Japanese ending up in the Osaka concentration camp, the Tokushima camp in December 1914 with prisoner no. 4319 and moved again in June 1917 to the Bando camp. Released in December 1919.

Accepted the option to start working with the Hollandsche Beton Maatschappij in Batavia. In 1922 he was stationed for this firm in Makassar. He married twice. The second marriage was with Louise Haefele. Three children were born. In 1935 he moved to the Pieter Sijthoflaan 61 in Semarang (Java)

Interned in May 140 and deported in January 1942 with the Van Imhoff. Drowned.

His wife and three children travelled back to Germany in November 1947. His son Hans Weber established a successful Fertighaus firma (Weberhaus) in 1960
