Otto Johann(a) Ludwig Moszkowicz

Victim | 1911 | Engineer

Son of Ludwig Moszkowicz and Elisabeth Benndorf

To escape the Jewish persecution in Nazi Germany he migrated to NEI, only to be persecuted again because of his German background.

Otto Moszkowicz worked as engineer with the Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij (BP) in Terisi, Jatibarang, West Java. His last residence was the city of Tjepoe (Cepu). He was not married.

He was shipped out of the country with the Van Imhoff and drowned during the disaster.

Otto Moszkowicz' name appears on the socalled KutaCane transportation list.

On 16 September 2013, Werner Stauder posted his study of the fate of Jews in NEI on his website: //sites.google.com/site/messiaansestudies/duitse-joden-achter-indische-kawat. In this article he takes the story of Otto Moszkowicz as example.
