Born 1891 in Wesel, Kreis Rees, Rheinland Province. August 1914: mobilized as upper heater at the torpedo boat S 90. In October 1914 interned by the Japanese and imprisoned in Nanking Released in December 1919.
31 January 1920 he travels from Shanghai to the Netherlands East Indies, aboard the Hudson Mam and finds employment with with the Semarang-Cirebon Steamship Company in Tegal in 1922.
He shifts to planting in 1935 at the Soengei Langka, Td. Karang. 1940: E
Employee with the Straits Sunda Syndicate.
Interned in May 1940 and shipped with the ss VAn Imhoff. Drowned.
